But as far as the link between homosexuality and terrorism goes, Islam in the middle east allows for many types of perversions and pedophilia/pederasty is one of them. On paper, Islam teaches that homosexuality is an abomination against God, but in reality many Muslim men participate in homosexual acts with young Muslim boys. Somehow, they justify these acts because the young boys are not grown men yet. Since they are prepubescent perhaps they see them more as girls rather than as boys, so they feel they can "do as they please" with them and it doesn't fall strictly into the category of homosexuality. I do believe that the sexual abuse many young Muslim males may suffer at the hands of older men does make a deep wounding in them when they grow up. It weakens them psychologically, stunts their emotional growth, and causes mental anguish. Sure, I can see this type of wounded person being VERY vulnerable to terrorist indoctrination. Is that kind of where you were going? Not sure I was much help... I was thinking also of the Afghan movie called 'Osama' which was the first movie made in Afghanistan after the fall of the Taliban. It takes place during the Taliban-era and you can see what a horrid, wicked, backwards culture the Taliban had created. There is one scene in particular where an older imam is teaching young boys about Koranic prayer...only he takes great relish in the part where he teaches them how to purify themselves with water before prayer times. The older man is clearly lusting over these young boys, referring to one of them as being like a beautiful little nymph. It's quite gross. But that's Islam.
